Jesus Himself Was Born Again!


Romans 8:29 (NIV)

29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Revelation 1:5 (NIV)

5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

It’s clear from the scriptures above, that Jesus was actually born again – but not only that, but that he was certainly never intended to be the last. It was always God plan that Through the death of Jesus you should be freed from your sin, then through he’s resurrection, be born again into a new life.
If you’ve ever wondered if it was actually God’s plan for you to be born againm rest easy…it is. That’s why Jesus came. No only so that you would be declared forgiven…but that by being re-born (or born again), you should be declared completely innocent, with needing to be forgiven…a completely new creation.
So what would Jesus think about born again Christians…well he considers us his brothers and he’s delighted!
